I wish I could tell you all in person

… because then you’d have to give me champagne.

the glitter on the finger :)

We went out for a lovely dinner, drank quite a bit of wine, and afterwards, despite my protests about the cold and my three-inch heels, Katsumi dragged me past our car to “show me something”. That something turned out to be one of the best moments of my entire life, and certainly the most beautiful piece of jewelry I’ve ever had.

He still can’t talk about it without getting nauseous. I, on the other hand, drunk-dialed everyone I knew, including my parents, which may or may not have been a good idea. Luckily, they were too busy shrieking with joy to realize that their newly engaged daughter couldn’t put two words together end to end.

I plan on celebrating for the next five or six weeks straight, so please send moet chandon and a big box of advil!
