and furthermore, I would like to know what the fuck is up with those recorded telemarketing calls? Does anyone actually listen after the first three words?

i’ve even gotten a few of these calls on my cell phone, which is really disturbing.

also disturbing: when i myself was an 18-year-old telemarketer I once was told to go to hell and die by a 6-year-old who, even at that tender age, had already developed a serious hatred for unsolicited marketing. this is not hyperbole. i almost cried.

maybe that’s why they have the pre-recorded calls… all the real telemarketers couldn’t take the abuse…
