sunrise, sunset

It was a four hour drive through night desert to get from Williams to Monument Valley, a drive we spent listening to drum n’ bass and jazz, so we arrived at our hotel tired and spent. “But we have to be up early tomorrow,” B! told me. “So be ready” Getting up early has never really been my thing. I was less than thrilled.

Until morning, that is.

Almost too beautiful to be real. And promptly after taking those photos, I went back to bed and slept for another hour.

Having opted not to ride the dirt roads out into the park, after checkout, breakfast, and some taking in of views we hit the road to Cottonwood. We took many pictures along the way.

Brandon and I were excited to have been in Utah,

Utah: for killer times.

UTAH! FUCK YEAH!

but we were just as happy to leave, honestly. Because you just can’t beat an Arizona sunset.

Waiting for Godot

  1. I am getting wicked psyched by your photos. Also, we need to clean that sensor/lens. Those little black dots are probably flour and sugar granules.
